Hey! I'm Josh. A jack-of-all-trades, based in Toronto, who expresses themselves through photography, design & writing.
Why InProgress Media? Because progress is far more important than perfection.
For too long, I fell into the trap that many creatives face: never feeling good enough in their craft, needing everything to be perfect before starting anything and wondering if these efforts could be better used elsewhere. Well you, or anyone who has felt the struggle: you are plenty good enough, we all got to start somewhere and so long as it gives you meaning and joy, your project is valuable and worth it, no matter what anyone else says.
InProgress Media is a way of breaking the vicious cycle of self-doubt and create a platform to rediscover and display my passions. I’ve always believed that the hardest part of any project is gaining to courage to start. And so, regardless of the fact that this website will be rough around the edges for an indefinite amount of time, with enough effort and patience, I believe InProgess will surpass whatever limitations I thought I had.
So, join me on my creative journey and continue discovering ourselves, one day at a time. Remember to trust your process and more importantly, give yourself the time, space and kindness you deserve.
